Camping available in Yurts, cabins, teepees, a good old fashioned tent, and for those of us who enjoy our campers, RV spaces. be. If you want to camp, be sure to reserve early.
Sandy
Meining Park is a 10-acre park offers a developed area as well as 5-acres of forested hiking trails. Features include a beautiful log gazebo, an amphitheater, restrooms, shady picnic areas, a year-round creek, and Fantasy Forest--a fantastic handicap-accessible playground (cedar bark protection).
Meinig Park is the site for the Sandy Mountain Festival, held the second weekend in July. The 5-week Music in Meinig series begins the first Wednesday in August and Movies in the Park are shown on 6 Saturdays beginning in August. New this year is the 4-week Sandy Acoustic Series which is held in the amphitheater beginning Sunday, July 22nd.

Alder Creek
18-hole course for sport and fun. Plant arboretum, museum of artifacts, picnic area, gift shop, and a snack bar! Inexpensive, family-oriented entertainment.

A great place for the kids to have fun and learn at the same time. We won't tell them it is educational as well as fun.

Speaking of educational, be sure to check out The End of the Oregon trail Interpretive Center. You will enjoy presentations by live History Interpreters in period attire. Bound for Oregon is a multimedia experience the whole family can enjoy, along with two hands-on areas for younger visitors. The exhibit hall features unique displays throughout the year on local heritage and the Oregon Trail journey.
